Current Best Model

Portfolio destination, current system action, and same-entry timing research are separate questions.

Model -
Performance researchTesting tabReplay CAGR, calibration, promotion evidence, and transferability limits are kept out of Briefing.
1. Portfolio destination

A target allocation says where the source model would like exposure. It is not itself a new-order instruction.

2. Current system action

The account plan says whether Reedout can act now, is held by a gate, has no order, or lacks current authority.

3. Same-entry research

The horizon curve holds the entry time fixed. It cannot estimate the best later buy time or an expected holding duration.

Inspector: ticker and horizon diagnostics

Current-Entry Horizon Diagnostics

Use the slider only to inspect a fixed entry across review horizons. It does not tell Reedout or you to wait until a later time to buy; managed account order plans still decide whether anything trades.

Market Signal Map

Live score feed summarized by time horizon. Higher scores mean stronger current evidence, not a guaranteed outcome.

Signals -
1. Read the horizon

Immediate is for intraday decisions. Swing is for daily or every-few-days checks. Position Quality is for weekly, monthly, or lower-frequency portfolio reviews.

2. Compare score and freshness

A high score matters more when the quote and score freshness badges are current. Stale or fallback data should be treated with lower confidence.

3. Separate signals from targets

The signal map ranks evidence. Source targets are destination provenance and current SELL context; active-v5 BUY selection compares the complete priceable opportunity universe before final account gates.

4. Use rows as context

Use the card that matches your rebalance cadence, then compare the ticker against the leaderboard, source/destination context, current account action, and your own risk limits.

Why Immediate / Intraday can disagree with live target positions

Immediate / Intraday is a live raw signal ranking for the next efficient trading window. Source baskets are policy/model destination priors and current SELL-proposal context. For active-v5 BUYs, independently authorized working orders may remain open with exact cash reservations while each fresh plan compares every priceable same-generation candidate and sizes at most one new child. Another submission requires a new generation and the final account gate must still clear.

A ticker can be outside the source basket and still win the BUY comparison, or appear in the source basket and receive no BUY when its typed action value is nonpositive. The final account plan, held reason, and broker lifecycle remain the execution authority.

Short-side rows are research-only watch signals. Reedout will not auto-promote short-stock, put, or multi-leg put strategies unless explicit risk gates and promotion policy allow it.

Paper Options Trade Candidates

Defined-risk bearish put debit spreads only. Rows become paper-ready only when chain quotes, liquidity, bid/ask friction, payoff, breakeven, and regular-session gates all pass.

Testing And Transferability

Current Implementation Replay And Validation

Completed Test Evidence

Every completed result names its historical window, data granularity, run clock, calculation, modeled realism, and remaining omissions. Paired deltas compare the same frozen inputs unless stated otherwise.

How To Read This Baseline

A result stays useful as a baseline even when its transfer impact is unmeasured. It must not be presented as expected realized CAGR or a production projection until the missing live-path surfaces are represented.

Transferability Risk Queue

Priority is based on what can most change the gap between replay evidence and a future realized result. A blank delta means the risk has not yet been measured, not that it is harmless.

Advise For Self-Directed Traders

Apprise Signals shows what current evidence is saying. Advise translates that evidence into low-maintenance ETF actions a self-directed trader can actually live with. Reedout automation still comes from managed account targets, execution gates, and order plans.

Waiting for current model data

This changes only the educational lens. It cannot create a target, order, broker request, or account authority.

Market evidence

Use Apprise Signals to understand what looks strong, crowded, defensive, or risky right now.

Investor action

Use this tab to turn that evidence into portfolio rules based on attention span and rebalance cadence.

Specific exposure

Guardrails are tied to ETF and stock types: broad core, QQQ-style growth, semiconductors, single names, bonds, and cash.

Not order authority

This tab is portfolio education. Live trades still require account-specific Reedout gates to clear.

Standing Educational Context: Investor Styles

Standing educational context, maintained by product updates rather than recalculated from the current dashboard. The selected, timestamped evidence lens is above; these examples do not direct an allocation.

Set And Forget

Best for investors who do not want market calls. Use a fixed ETF recipe with broad US stocks, some international, and bonds or cash. Avoid default target-date funds as the main recommendation because their glide paths are not risk-parity portfolios.

Annual Review

Use broad ETFs as the core, then add small, named growth or semiconductor sleeves only if they fit the investor's risk tolerance. Once per year, trim back to the target mix.

Quarterly Review

Can support a moderate QQQ-style or semiconductor ETF sleeve. Rebalance only when a sleeve drifts meaningfully, not just because the market moved this week.

Monthly Review

Can be more responsive to Apprise Signals evidence, but should still use ticker-type limits and predefined rules. Avoid turning monthly review into frequent hype chasing.

Standing ETF Guardrails

Standing educational context, not a live allocation recommendation. ETF examples are categories, not required tickers; similar low-cost funds can fill the same role.

Style Core ETF Mix Growth / AI Sleeve Concentration Guardrail Review Rule
Set and forget 70% US equity sleeve: 65-70% VTI or VOO plus any QQQM at right; 15% VXUS; 15% BND or SGOV 0-5% QQQM carved from the 70% US equity sleeve; 0% single stocks; usually no SMH/SOXX One narrow ETF <= 5%; single stock allocation should be avoided. Check only after major life or risk-tolerance changes.
Annual 60% VTI or VOO/SPY, 15% VXUS, 15% BND or SGOV 7% QQQM or QQQ, 3% SMH or SOXX One single stock <= 2%; all single stocks <= 5%; semis ETF <= 5%. Once per year, return sleeves to target weights.
Quarterly 55% VTI or VOO/SPY, 15% VXUS, 10% BND or SGOV, 5% defensive ETF such as USMV, XLV, or XLP 10% QQQM or QQQ, 5% SMH or SOXX One single stock <= 3%; all single stocks <= 8%; semis ETF <= 8-10%. Review quarterly; trade only if drift is meaningful.
Monthly 50% VTI or VOO/SPY, 10% VXUS, 10% BND/SGOV or tactical cash, 5% defensive ETF 15% QQQM or QQQ, 7% SMH or SOXX, 3% flexible ETF sleeve from Market evidence One single stock <= 5%; all single stocks <= 12%; no leveraged ETF unless the investor actively manages risk. Use written rules for adds/trims; avoid discretionary chasing.

Standing Exposure Guardrails

Standing context, updated only with the product guidance rather than live market data. For low-maintenance investors, concentrated AI or semiconductor exposure should usually be a satellite, not the portfolio foundation.

Broad core ETFsVTI, VOO, or SPY should usually remain at least 50-70% of an ETF portfolio that is reviewed monthly or less. Nasdaq growthQQQ or QQQM can be a 5-15% sleeve for annual or quarterly investors; above 15-20% turns the portfolio into a growth-heavy bet. SemiconductorsSMH or SOXX should usually stay below 5% for annual investors and below about 10% even for quarterly/monthly investors. Single stocksNVDA, AMD, ARM, MU, AVGO, or similar names should be small satellites, not substitutes for broad ETFs. Bonds and cashBND, SGOV, or cash-like holdings are ballast; TLT is a rate-duration bet, not a generic cash substitute. Leveraged or niche ETFsLeveraged, inverse, and narrow story ETFs should be avoided by set-and-forget or annual investors.

Start Setup

Log in to begin setup. This public guide explains the path without displaying private account configuration.

Login required
Creating an account and connecting Schwab do not enable trading. Account permissions and any live-trading decision remain explicit, per-account choices after login.

What You Will Need

Prepare these prerequisites now; the private setup checklist appears only after you sign in.

Reedout account

A Reedout login identifies your private portfolio, settings, terms, and automation permissions.

Schwab account

A Schwab brokerage login with accounts you want Reedout to read. Schwab credentials and MFA remain on Schwab's site.

Trading access

Each account intended for automation must be eligible for API orders and enabled for thinkorswim trading in Schwab.

Account decisions

Decide which sub-accounts may be managed and whether taxable, IRA, cash, or margin capabilities are appropriate for each one.

Authenticated Setup Sequence

Reedout keeps account access separate from permission to trade.

  1. Log in to your Reedout account, or create one first.
  2. Authorize Schwab through its OAuth page when you are ready.
  3. Sync and review imported sub-accounts and brokerage readiness.
  4. Choose settings, review risk disclosures, and decide which accounts may be managed.
  5. Explicitly enable live trading for an eligible account only when you intend to do so.

This public guide contains no credentials, OAuth controls, callback URLs, account selectors, terms controls, balances, holdings, orders, or trading toggles.
